The Clark County fire department was established in 1953, the CCFD provides fire suppression that range from structure fires, vehicle fires, and wildland fires inside but not limited to Clark County. The CCFD operates on a 24/48 hours schedule out of 3 stations with 9 personnel per shift (3 shifts total). CCFD has 3 engine/pumpers, 1 rescue pumper, 1 tanker, 1 quint (65ft ladder), 2 brush trucks, and other support vehicles.
In addition to fire suppression the CCFD also trains’ to technician level in the following special operations disciplines when tech level certification level can be obtained.
