Fire Prevention

The Clark County Fire Department has two staff personnel consisting of the Fire Chief and the Fire Marshal. The entire department along with the Fire Marshal also provide the community with fire prevention in the form of education. Providing knowledge to the public on the dangers of fire and everyday hazards helps mitigate these emergencies from happening.

The Fire Marshal conducts routine fire inspections to verify that all fire and life safety codes are maintained in a facility or structures within the county, but that are outside the city limits. This helps with reducing the risk of hazards, minimizing deaths or injuries, minimizing property loss and fire insurance costs.
